About Gabriela Aguerrea
My name is Gabriela Aguerrea and I am Argentina. Artists like Picasso, Juan Del Prete, Chagall, Carlos Alonso, among others, inspire me.
I started my artistic path first in a self-taught, then I studied in workshops and finally at the UNA National University of Arts, where I am currently studying, already taking the last subjects.
To meet art, I necessarily have to enjoy myself, putting aside the conscious to make the work, I completely immerse myself in the sensations and I let myself be carried away wherever the painting decides. I have no control of what will happen. I let the vagaries of impulses and instinct make me flow, and I let accidents in the painting run through it, making it unique, without wanting to copy anything, just let it flow. So precisely because of that lack of control, I actually realize that I am totally free, without censorship, without a duty to be.
