Buy Art Club Cadogan Contemporary Art Gallery London | Buyart.club

Cadogan Contemporary is a truly independent art gallery. English in sensibility, we have an international appeal. Trading successfully since 1980 in Chelsea, our client list is as diverse and distinguished as our stock. From photorealism to pure abstraction, our selection is eclectic but retains an enduring identity. We exhibit many established and critically acclaimed artists but choose each painting for what we think will connect to people. We have evolved with some of our artists who have been with us since the very beginning as well as always being on the lookout for new talent that will bring our gallery forward. The gallery was founded 40 years ago in the heart of Belgravia by Christopher Burness. After a few years in Pont Street, the gallery moved close to Draycott Avenue, SW3, where it remained for 20 years gaining prominence, royal patronage and developing its catalogue of artists. In 2007 Cadogan Contemporary moved to 87 Old Brompton Road in South Kensington, an easily accessible and vibrant location which brings in its international clientele. Freddie Burness joined the gallery in 2014 and is now working with Christopher expand the business internationally. This year, we are celebrating the gallery’s 40th Anniversary with an exciting exhibition programme showcasing artists we have worked with for many years, as well as new, young artists whose work is representative of the gallery’s current direction.
