In September 2020, the gallery opened its doors in Wattwil in 1923 under the direction of the gallery owner Aischa Ibrovic.
The vision is to soon broadcast far beyond the region and into neighboring countries through art and to become a point of attraction for those interested in art.
High-class abstract and contemporary works find an interested audience in the first few months. The platform for established national and international artists also inspires long-term collectors.
The gallery deals intensively and on site with developments on the rapidly changing art market, be it at international art fairs such as in London or New York. Accordingly, customers are offered the best possible advice on a possible investment.
Long-term collaboration with the artists is also a major concern of the Galerie 1923. It accompanies them on their way and in their development. Joint maturation and evolution is a key issue.
In the future, progressive art will create a field of tension in rural areas that will cast its spell over those interested in art from all directions.
